Beaune, France
A quick stop in Beaune on our way to Paris! Here we did a wine tasting, toured Hôtel-Dieu de Beaune, and had free time to explore the town. Due to our small dinner, this of course meant we had room for gelato and macarons! A lot of our group ended up getting back to the hotel around the same time. There was a guitar in the lobby so Joseph (VA) played some music for us.

Rick says it best, "There's no better travel experience than a picnic sourced from local markets and grocers, eaten outdoors with a lively square, peaceful park, or rejuvenated harborfront as a backdrop." So for dinner, we decided to have a picnic in the park. We got rolls, cheese, salami, and chips from a nearby grocery store.
