Paris, France
Our last stop on our tour :( The trip was 100 times better than we could have ever expected! From escargot to macarons, we ate our way through Paris! Of course, the Eiffel Tower was beautiful, and the Louvre was a maze full of art and the very popular Mona Lisa (Pre jewel stealing).

Trying escargot! They said it just tasted like butter, garlic and pesto.

Tip #7
Make sure you go see the Eiffel Tower during the day and at night! During the day, you can have a classic Rick Steves Picnic. While at night, you can watch the tower sparkle for 5 minutes at the beginning of every hour.

louvre

We got to the Louvre early in the morning with the group to get in line. We waited about 30 mins before getting in. It was very crowded, especially in the room with the Mona Lisa. It was a bit smaller than I expected but it was very cool to see in person. It was also funny to see the amount of security and chaos brought on by the painting. We also had lunch, macarons, and hot chocolate at Angelina's inside the Louvre. It was also cool to see all of the other much larger painting that didn't get quite as much attention. The painting in the red room is where they filmed The Summer I Turned Pretty which is a popular show Megan and I watch on Amazon Prime! There is so so much to see in here and we couldn't possibly see it all!

FUN FACT
The Mona Lisa used to be only known in the art community until it was stolen in 1911. This created a media frenzy that brought the painting worldwide attention. People even ran to the Louvre to look at the empty space where the painting had once sat.
