Venice, Italy

Our last stop in Italy! Seriously a bucket list stop!! Staying in Venice really made the experience special. Early in the morning or late at night it was great to walk around because the day tourists had either not come in yet or left for the day. As you'll see we also had some very adventurous food in Venice!

Our hotel in Venice! Great location and easy to get back to after a long day of walking.

Walking at night or early in the morning allowed our parents to take nice pictures without the crowds. Megan and I decided to get the extra sleep!

Megan loves watching F1 racing. Her favorite is Charles Leclerc of Ferrari! Of course Italy has tons of Ferrari stores, merch, and flags!

Pictures had to be taken at every bridge

Of course Mom wanted us to take a picture with the pink vespa!

Such a fun experience! I know the saying is "when in Rome" but "when in Venice" you definitely have to do a gondola ride!

Walking Tour

This was probably my favorite day in Italy! The morning was very peaceful because all the day tourists hadn't gotten there yet. The walking tour with a local guide was great and the surprise event was one of the highlights of the trip for me (see below)! The hotel in Venice was also great! Everywhere had breakfast but our parents liked the options here the best out of anywhere.

 Tip #4

Plan time for breakfast at the hotel; you have to fuel up for the tours and other fun plans ahead. Plus, as mentioned earlier, Venice had the best gelato- Gelateria Gallonetto

Ca' del Sol - We got a demonstration of mask making by the owner himself! Translated to English by our Venice tour guide. Megan and I are really into art so this was so cool!

Such a great end to Italy! Each stop was special for different reasons. By this point, our tour group started to feel like a family and we enjoyed catching up during group dinners about what everyone was up to in their free time. Also great to get recommendations for food and places to visit based on what others had done.
