Orvieto, Italy
We are on our way to Tuscany, Italy! We had a quick stop in Orvieto to break up the trip. Bea set us up with a local tour guide who showed us around the town and a beautiful church. We also had free time to explore, which consisted of climbing the Torre del Moro, gelato, and souvenir shopping!

Megan said it was giving "Olive Garden"

Orvieto Cathedral
This was arguably the prettiest church we saw, and in the tiniest town!
This was a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of Rome. Only two restaurants were open, and few cars drove along the cobblestone roads. There isn't enough room on the roads for you and the car, be careful!

FUN FACT
While on our tour of the town with a local guide, we learned that the facade of this church features gold leaf accents. When the sun hits the church, the glow and shine of the gold is stunning. Unfortunately, the pictures don't do this church's beauty justice

Torre del Moro

Quick trip but plenty to see! A very relaxing town with few tourists.

Souvenir shopping
Lots of stairs!
